I was at World Youth Day in Toronto in 2002, and the crowds were massive. When John Paul II was taking the stage, people were screaming, this little crowd of students and nuns you could hear yelling "J P II, We Love You!" Over and over.
When the Pope got to the mic, he said into it, "JPII, he loves you back." John Paul II was the best. |
